This white wine from Marlborough, New Zealand is gorgeous. Gooseberries, passionfruit with a hint of pepper. Crisp, lively acidity and a well balanced finish, will definitely be purchasing more of this. Yummy. Available from BubbleBrothers in Cork

Peroni Gran Reserva

Illy Coffee Mahon Point
Undrinkable. Burnt bitter latte. It says it all that McDonald's coffee better! It's actually a Haagen Dazs outlet.

Maher's Coffee at Taste Of Cork
Really needed the pick me up and some espressos from this stand got me going for another few hours. Why did itaste better than any place i've tried that sells their coffee? There's more to it than beans!

Bubble Brothers at Taste Of Cork
These guys were on the English Market stand and had some lovely wine. I tried and enjoyed several. The iki br was worth a go and the sake went very nicely with some oysters from the ajoining stand. I thought their prices were a bit high compared to...

Colonna Black Olive Paste
Got this fantastic spread at the Gastronomia stand at the Taste Of Cork festival. They had a sexy range of gourmet alian products including preserved vegetables, wines and coffee. Now I just need to figure out where they are based in Cork

Great fun, a bit crowded, really enjoyed it, cocktail training was so much fun, maybe more types of food, some stands it was hard to see what they actually had. A really fun night out with a twist. Loved it.
